Hi, I'm Lisa.
For years, I thought happiness was something you earned.
If I worked harder… Checked every box… Took care of everyone else first… Then maybe I'd finally feel like I had "made it." But somewhere along the way, I realized I was chasing a version of happiness that wasn't even mine. Happy Girl was born from that realization.
Not because life suddenly became perfect, but because I stopped waiting for perfect to let myself enjoy it. I started finding happiness in the little things—a morning coffee, a walk outside, laughing until my stomach hurt, putting on an outfit that made me feel like myself again. I learned that happiness isn't a destination. It's something we create in the middle of real life. As women, we're constantly told to hustle harder, do more, be more, and somehow stay positive through it all. I don't believe in toxic positivity. I believe in making space for every emotion while still choosing to notice the good when we can. Happy Girl isn't about pretending everything is okay. It's about giving yourself permission to define happiness on your own terms. Whether today feels joyful, messy, exciting, overwhelming, or somewhere in between, you're still welcome here. I hope every piece we create reminds you to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and celebrate both the big moments and the beautifully ordinary ones. Thank you for being here and for becoming part of this community.
With deepest love,
Lisa
