Why We Chose
This Fabric

When we created Happy Girl, we weren't looking for just another sweatshirt.

We wanted that piece you reach for over and over again—the one that feels incredibly soft the first time you wear it and still looks beautiful months later.

That's why we chose a premium 80% combed cotton / 20% polyester 3-end fleece with a substantial 350–420 GSM weight. It has the perfect balance of softness, structure, and durability, giving you a luxurious feel without being overly heavy.

But the fabric blend is only part of the story. The finishing process is what makes it truly special. Every piece is thoughtfully finished to create an elevated feel and lasting quality:

Enzyme washed for exceptional softness
Bio-polished to help reduce surface fuzz and minimize pilling
Silicone finished for an incredibly smooth, buttery-soft hand feel
Pre-shrunk for a more consistent fit after washing
Anti-pilling treated for long-term durability
Reactive dyed with advanced color fixation for rich, vibrant color that lasts wash after wash

The result is a fabric with a smooth, premium exterior that showcases beautiful embroidery, paired with a plush brushed interior you'll want to live in.
